Handmade crocheted rag rugs, chair pads, placemats, tree skirts and trivets in today's decorator fabrics. Crocheted in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, these items are cotton blends and can be machine-washed and dried. The more you wash and dry them, the better they get. Custom orders are welcome as we can accommodate many shapes and color schemes.
As long as I remember I have loved rugs. My grandmother's oriental rugs were the first to intrigue me with their colorful patterns. I have made a variety of rugs for the last 27 years, shirred rugs, braided rugs and for the past 14 years, crocheted rag rugs. I love working with the material and putting the color combinations together. They are a warm comforting addition to any home. We still use the first rugs I made 14 years ago.
